Dramatically Improve Your Health In Less Than 5 Minutes A Day

We all live crazy busy lifestyle, but we all have the same 24 hours a day to get things done. Sometimes though, with life, jobs, kids and commitments, we often put ourselves and our well being to the back of our minds.

So how can you improve your healthy dramatically in just less than 5 minutes a day?

The answer is juicing! We aren’t talking about the traditional juicing and orange and squeezing our juice, I am talking about blend your foods into a super charged, jammed packed health bomb of goodness. To improve your health, immunity and to ward of any potential nasties that are found during these colder months.

This is one part of my day I strictly do not change because of how incredible the health benefits of it are, and how amazing it makes me feel.

Australian scientists and dietitians recommend 3 to 5 servings of fruit and vegetables a day. I personally believe it can and should be more than that, but hey, thats just me. Around two years ago, I found that because I always have time to cook, I thought that blending all of my foods together to create one massive serving of fruits and veg daily was a winner.. I was right and the results were incredible.

I had more energy, my hair, skin and nails started to improve after just a couple of week, my bowel movements improved (gross but true) and I found myself craving them every single day, because not only are they amazing, they taste amazing too.

Just today, I posted to my instagram account @nickijenns a snapshot of my ingredients before I blended them and will provide the ingredients here too.

Now, I don’t have a fancy ninja juice or magic bullet, but a simple $30 blender I found from Amazon that I use multiple times daily that has served me INCREDIBLE well.

If you are looking to improve your daily habits in a super simple and super effective way, I highly recommend juicing your foods, to not only save you time, but also save an expanding waistline and potential health issues that may arise from not eating an adequate supply of fruit and veg daily.

All recipes can by changed to suit your tastes and budgets, but my daily juice recipe is

– 200ml Coconut Water (not from concentrate)
– 1/2 Stick Celery
– 1 Cup Spinach
– 1/2 Carrot
– 1cm slice of ginger
– 1/2 Orange
– 1/2 Apple (green or red)
– 1 Tspn Matcha Green Tea (Optional)
– 1 Tbsn of Flaxseed Oil
– 1 Cup Blueberries OR Raspberries
– 1 Scoop Protein Powder (Optional)

I usually prepare all of my ingredients and place them in the bullet with the lid on the night before + Prep some ingredients for the remainder of the week so I can easily access them first thing in the morning and I am on my way in less than 5 minutes.

So go on, give it a try and see just how it makes you feel. A great way to save time and visits to the doctor during this chilly winter of ours!
